My words in thought
rush out to them
Only to crash against the barrier
of my speechlessness
And fall in torrents
back on my own being
No! No!
This is a BEAUTIFUL day,
BECAUSE it is raining
Raining life, happiness
and freedom
And I really do feel alive,
happy and free in the rain
Precious rain,
splashing this uplifted face
Like a thousand needles
as I laugh
Into the ocean
of liquid air above me
I look through the blue-gray flood
of deluded ink
Drenching everything into
dream-like structures
And I am thankful
for this refill of insight
It came just in time
to save me from reality
