There Are No Accidents

Coffee smoking on a window sill
Spring rain bringing back a winters chill
Thirsting and drinking is this warm white power sand
Where is the place in this ecology for man?
Cancer grows now in many of us
Do we reflect this on the earth's crust?
Something should be done and maybe that thing should be
We are put with Atlantis deep beneath the sea
Beautiful sea, blood line of the earth
I ponder on your secrets to search
I wish I could explore and get to know you well
Sit by open campfires and tell my travel tales
Become a part of you, Mother Earth
Learning the secrets of death and birth
For I fear this world, as we humans know it now
Will explode in rage or erupt in grief somehow
I watch the steam from my coffee cup
A twist of smoke, its end is abrupt
I sit enjoying the rain, the sight and the sound
But like memories, with a sweet smile then a frown
I would like to feature your work on my
Current Guest Feature
page!
I am excited to be displaying the work of many fine artist and writers, here, "Through My Window."
